About Your Dog Walker

Hi there, I’m Priscilla! I’m the sole proprietor, dog walker, and dog sitter of PetSteps!

My company may be small, but my heart isn’t when it comes to taking care of fur babies. I got into the dog walking business after my first pet I owned passed away. While struggling through the loss, I found so many happy, wagging tails and wet noses that filled my heart with warmth. I was dedicated to giving any of the dogs I looked after the best care possible since they gave me so much comfort in return.

Eventually, I got another dog and started my own business to be closer to home. Pets are so important to our lives, even to the point where they aren’t just a “pet” but family. Every pet has their own personality and getting to know them is getting to know what they want and need. My goal is to fulfill those needs so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is getting the best care when you aren’t there.

About Our Business

We want to make sure your dog deserves the best care during each visit. Visits range from 20, 40, to 60 minutes for us to achieve our goal. While we are about walking or taking your dog out, we value quality time with your pet for an overall enriching experience.

In addition to walks, playing, and pets, we check water bowls for refreshes, feed if needed, accident cleanups, and garbage or mail pickup if required for clients who are on vacation. If your dog has special requirements, we do our utmost best to fulfil your dog’s needs. Please keep in mind we are not certified trainers or veterinary specialists.

Your training commands/protocols will be upheld unless we feel that they are threatening or uncomfortable. We have experience in administering oral and topical medications, but we do not do injections such as insulin.

What is most important is all the necessary information you provide during our Meet & Greet and in your profile so we are aware of your pets special requests. We use Precise Petcare for all of our needs. Scheduling, tracking visits, client/pet profiling, invoicing and paying invoices are some of the major functions both used on our end and the client’s.

Each visit will have a journal entry of how the visit went and will include photos, a checklist, time stamp, and a map. It is our goal to put your mind at ease knowing that your pet is receiving proper care and is in good hands.
