FAQ

Yes. We are fully covered through Petcare Insurance.

Our business is small and we only have one walker to accommodate our clients. If there will ever be additional walkers on a visit, they will be training as new employees. Clients will be notified of any additional walkers during visits.

No. Our visits are meant for your pet and your pet alone. It will only be a group walk if there is more than one dog in your home.

Since we are a small business and have only one dog walker, we cannot accommodate overnight stays for your pet. We do offer multiple visits per day for clients who are away for an extended period of time. These are our pet sitting visits and generally range from 3 to 4 visits. The visits include an early morning (20 or 40 minute), day (20 minute), afternoon/evening (20 or 40 minute), and/or a late night ( 20 minute) visit. Our pet sitting services are priced based on your needs.

We will take care of a pet that is not yours under the following conditions: an additional $3 fee will be charged, the pet must have a profile set up through Precise Petcare, and their owner will need to accept and agree to the terms of service.

Invoicing and payments are processed through Precise Petcare. Invoices are sent within 24 hours after the last visit of the week and due within a week of invoicing. A standard week cycle is Sunday through Saturday. Payments can be made via credit/debit card, Venmo, PayPal, or check/cash. We strive to make the process as easy as possible for our customers. There is an option to input your card information on Precise Petcare so invoices will be automatically charged for convenience. A 2% service charge will incur for any past due invoices.

Visits must be cancelled 24 hours in advance. Any visits cancelled in less than 24 hours will be charged 50% of the visit. LEASH POLICYWe do not allow retractable leashes. We will bring our own standard leash in the case of a client having only a retractable leash. The safety of your pet is top priority and, while we trust your dog is great on their leash, we want to take as many precautions as necessary to ensure that safety

Our visits will be scheduled as normal despite rain, snow, or sunshine. We typically do quick 10 minute let outs if the temperature is 90 degrees and above or 20 degrees and below. In the case of severe/extreme weather, such as thunderstorms and blizzards, we will exercise caution and keep your dog indoors for their safety and ours if the weather is too threatening.

We will pick/clean up after your pet when they do their business during our visit. We do not offer poop pickup services.

We do not offer taxi services for dogs. We will take your dog to a veterinary specialist in case of emergency during their visit if absolutely necessary.

We are dog specific services. We do not offer services for cats, birds, fish, small animals (e.g. hamsters, guinea pigs, etc.), or reptiles.
